Halloween Countdown - London After Midnight

London After Midnight concludes my countdown, I usually paint the last monster on Halloween, but I just don't want to spend all of tomorrow painting. After all, I have virgins to sacrifice and spirits to conjure.

Halloween Countdown - Stage Fright

The ninth monster in my countdown is owl masked killer from the film Stage Fright.

"He's enjoying himself! Do you realize he's enjoying himself!"

Halloween Countdown - Pluto

Just a couple more monsters to go! The eighth monster is Pluto from the original Hills Have Eyes.

"This is air force rescuewwww, what's up?"

Halloween Countdown - Wolf Man

Monster number seven is the werewolf from the Universal classic The Wolf Man. 

"Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright."

The sixth monster in my countdown is a graboid from the film Tremors.

"No way these are local boys."

We're half way there, only five more monsters to go! Tonight's monster is the button eyed killer from Nightbreed.

"Miss Winston, EVERYBODY has a secret face!"

The fourth monster in the countdown is the Lord of Darkness from the film Legend.

"Protect me in your black embrace. I sit alone, an impotent exile, whist this form, this presence, returns to torment me!"

The third monster in my countdown is the mutant baby from the 1974 film It's Alive.

"Hunting and killing babies doesn't seem to be my specialty"

The second monster in the countdown is Blacula.

"Bloodsucker! - Deadlier than Dracula!"

Howdy folks,

First off, I apologize for neglecting this blog and not posting any art. I assure you there is a perfectly reasonable explanation. I'm fucking lazy.

Now that we have that out of the way, lets get on to the good stuff, It's almost Halloween! That means it's time for the fourth annual monster countdown! Unlike last year, I'm only going to draw ten monsters instead of thirteen, because like I said earlier, lazy.

Let's get the ball rolling with a goblin from troll 2.

"Nilbog! It's goblin spelled backwards! This is their kingdom!"
